Delete Your Account

Option 1 — Delete from inside the app (fastest)

If you can sign in to your account, you can delete it yourself in a few clicks:

1. Open NexusDigest on the web or in the Android app.
2. Sign in to the account you want to delete.
3. Open Settings (account menu in the top-right, or go directly to Settings).
4. Scroll to the Danger Zone section and choose Delete Account.
5. Type DELETE in the confirmation field and confirm.

Option 2 — Email us to request deletion

If you can't access your account (for example, you lost access to your sign-in email), you can request account deletion by email. Send a message from the email address associated with your NexusDigest account to:

Include the email address you signed up with so we can locate and verify the account. We aim to action requests within 7 business days.

What gets deleted

When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed:

• Your account profile (email, name, authentication identifiers).
• Your preferences and settings (topics, categories, dark mode, etc.).
• Your reading history, saved items, and interaction data tied to your account.
• Your feedback submissions, comments, and in-app reports.
• Your email digest subscriptions.

What may be retained, and for how long

A small amount of data may be retained for a limited time where we have a legitimate business or legal reason to do so. We minimise this to only what is necessary.

Full account deletion (Option 1 or Option 2 above) completes within 30 days of your request, per our Privacy Policy.
